This site is the online edition of a book. It collects two things, both of them only when you type them in.
When you leave a comment on a paragraph, the site stores the comment, the paragraph it was about, the name and email address you gave, the time, and a one-way hash of your network address (used only to slow down automated abuse; the address itself is not kept). Comments go to the author and are not shown to anyone else. The email address is used to reply to you about your comment, and for nothing else. The first comment you leave sets a cookie holding a random id, so that on this browser you can see your own comments again, and whether they were answered; it identifies the browser, not you, and clearing it only means your earlier comments are no longer shown back to you.
If you subscribe, your email address and the name you gave are stored, and may be passed to the service that sends the mail, so that it can send it and honour unsubscribes. Every email it sends carries an unsubscribe link.
There are no advertising trackers. The site uses Statcounter to count visits and see which chapters are read; it sets a cookie to tell a returning visitor from a new one, and its handling of that data is described in Statcounter's privacy policy. Pages are protected against automated submissions by Cloudflare Turnstile, which may set a cookie of its own for that purpose.
To have a comment or a subscription deleted, write to hello@lgisp.ai from the address you used, and it will be.
